The SIM Citizenship Award recognizes simulationists across Canada who have made incredible contributions in the field of healthcare simulation. It honours those who have made an outstanding impact on building the simulation community, education, creative professional activities, advocacy, research and other endeavours.
The award celebrates collaborative and dedicated simulationists who have advocated for and championed simulation in their communities. Importantly, this award recognizes leading simulationists who may not be otherwise celebrated through more traditional academic awards. The nominees for the 2017 SIM Citizenship Award are as follows:
