Who we are
With its foundation in intersectoral simulation approaches SimXSpace is geared at exploring, implementing and evaluating innovation and research that focuses on experiential education across Canada and internationally. SimXSpace caters to different streams and a diverse range of disciplines within simulation research and brings together multiple disciplinary expertise across sectors beyond the healthcare realm including but not limited to health, informatics, engineering, computer science, arts, education and more to work together and build capacity.

SimXSpace is a global leader in realizing the full potential of simulation technologies and methodologies to drive a new era of experiential education and research through collaborations with healthcare organizations, intersectoral disciplines, and the corporate sector across Canada and internationally.
Mission
To establish a space which drives innovation and provides research opportunities to modernize and humanize curriculum; build capacity within and outside the university community; facilitate the translation of knowledge to improve experiential education through simulation across sectors; and provide products and services to strengthen experiential education outcomes.
